15 seconds into the video when i knocked the knot off the side of the log, i thought "silly 7 pin" For me 7 vs 8 pin is more about operator than saw (i also live in the world of built saws so keep that in mind) I run 8 pins on everything. Im used to the way they cut and my grind is kind of tailored to it as well, so i dont usually have a problem with saws pulling an 8 pin or not but i do notice that a saw isnt limbing as fast because the chain speed isnt there and that the saw will be pulling higher rpms and not cutting any faster. All just preference, id probably still swap to an 8 pin if it was my saw but i also understand what boedy was talking about in his video
❤❤pulls great
I read that some guy from Gilroy was looking for a porter in NorCal.
Somebody messaged me off one of the forums last week. Maybe that was him
Cuts great!
I sold my 757 a few months ago and completely regret it. Terrible mistake. It would start with only a 1/2 pull.
Looks. Like she's spitting chips pretty good! What do you think? Is that the 8 pin or 7?
